What I like most about this is how you did her face, her expression.
the pain of not being able to have the one you love, can it ever be compared to the pain of losing them? The tragedy in the little mermaids story is not towards her death but to the very reality that in the end the prince would never love her back. She had a second chance though but if for her to live meant the death of her beloved than she'd rather die. The depth to her pain, a cry from the abyss
I felt that from her facial expression.
